Dear Friends/Music Lovers!
I am SRee from Bangladesh has just released my first solo album "DORODI - the remix" with few everlasting folk songs.
This popular album is an exquisite collection of ten Bengali Folk songs. The most striking aspect of musical composition are those tunes and beats (DOL) of Bengali Folk songs that moves us. This rhythmic album will create its own niche in the minds of the Audience. A great blend of modern instruments and traditional Dhak- Dhol, Patil, Dotara, Ektara and Mendulin in this album took the songs to a new dimension.
The title song “Dorodi” pays tribute to Late Abbas Uddin. The song starts with Abbas Uddin’s original voice. My effort to familiarize the new generation with the original singer is a brand new edition to the Bengali remix world.
