The head of the caretaker has no power because most of the fixes in the administration have already taken place and unless the Election Commission is strengthened, the head of caretaker government cannot turn things around that much. Also, the problems in Bangladesh are so deep and the institutions are so weak that it is impossible for one person to change things around so quickly. this argument definitely has the most credibility and weight in the present scenario. There is a lot of house cleaning to do and institutions to be rebuilt. Dr Yunus needs much longer time and strength for that. But I figured that in taking up this duty, he could get his hands wet in politics, he could defuse the current political crisis, and he could also plant the seed for any future political movement that he wants to start. An efficient Yunus administration in action would be the best way advertise any future movement of a new kind of politics in Bangladesh.

However, with so much said, there's a lot to be done. Consider the role model of Malaysia and Dr. Mohathir Mohammad. We've witnessed the moments, when these two terms (Malaysia & Mohathir) was pronounced as one. I dare to dream that, Bangladesh & Dr. Yunus can be of same scenerio. If we, the Bangladeshi people are ready to accept it. We need revolution, we need young rebel blood, we need changes. But we need progressive people to make the difference. I've been to Singapore last year, and having a discussion with Taxi Driver who owns a flat in a posh area of Singapore almost as like any flats in Dhanmondi. In Singapore, the criteria to become elected minister is to be atleast holding a PhD degree. Now, can we imagine that here in Bangladesh? Yes, we can. If we, the people are ready to change and accept the changes. Dr. Yunus has showed us the way to grow in economy. Now, we need him and a huge group of progressive followers (who will be Die Hard believer of Yunus's Principles) to introduce Bangladesh as new powerful nation that would nomore be known as "Endless Basket" or "Country of Flood". We need a new identity in world map. And the time is now.
