I guess the trick is to be diplomatic without disappointing someone or pissing the hell outta them (but sometimes people deserve the bluntness...so there can always be an exception). And sometimes saying a simple No is a lot better than just giving in to some people's requests and kicking yourself later. I feel a lot better personally when I'm being straight instead of beating around the bushes I don't like being too nice to people anymore. I used to be one of those nice people. I used to pay for people's lunch when they "forgot" or "ran out cash" every other day. Sometimes you just gotta be a bit bitchy with people for your own sake, I guess
But...I'm nice. I just wont allow people to get too used to it.

i was (still am one of those nice people but only to friends nd close people) .. but i still tend to get a bit bitchy at times .. if i disagree with something .. i would not just sit there looking dumb .. i like expressing my opinions .. if i don't like something i would say it to u straight .. (no hard feelings!) ..
nd i think it is good to be straight forward .. cuz as Gemini said .. it's all for ur own good ..
i've helped around friends so many times .. to save their ass .. but where did i end up? .. no where .. i got bashed in the ass instead .. so now i just simply don't care .. i do my thing nd if i don't like something i say it .. at least it puts the other person off from annoying me!
