This is my first blog ever........Little nervous 'course

. I wish to write it based on some particular stories of my life. Wont write very frequently

, thats for sure....... Lets see how long I feel like writing it...
Back Stabbing People: The Background: This is how it started. Due to some emergency incidents, work loads for the past 4 days were tremendous in my office. Our department had to provide the upper management some reports on the performance after the recent incidents very frequently. One of the vaias (lets call him vaia1) was responsible for preparing the report with some help from me. Both of us were working very hard for the last few days. Requirements for the report tend to come very dynamically and we act accordingly afterwards.
The story:
Today at 11:30AM I asked vaia1 what should I provide upon the last requirement. He was busy and told me he will inform me later. Even though it was a very little info I needed to know, I had to wait. after 15 minutes again I asked for what he would require from me, and he replied he wont tell until he is free from his present work. Fine by me. So I waited. At 12:37PM he told me what I needed to know and it was just 2 sentences he had to tell. Unfortunately the database server went down at 12:30 so I could not provide him what was required from me at the moment.
I went to lunch. At 2PM he called in my cell phone to inform that database was up and running. I was away, so I hurried back to my office at 2:15PM. Started acting on the requirement and this time
vaia2 called me to discuss some issues. I asked if it could wait as I was already working on an emergency task but he said he wont take long. 10 minutes he did take, and I was back on track at what I was doing and took 15 more minutes to finish.
The after effect:
5 minutes later Apu1 came and demanded the full report from vaia1 which was not yet completed. When she demanded an explanation from vaia1, his reply was
"Asheq was half an hour late to provide data"! So apu1 came to me
'with a look' and told me "When you are to provide data, dont be late" and she went on to her own work.
Thats how I summarize: Thats it. What I could have given at 11:30+15 minutes, I had to give it on 2:45 and the blame is on me. cool! This is what I enrich my definition of "back stabbing people" with.
