May be we can celebrate special days in Golpo more meaningfully
For example: we can celebrate Bijoy Dibosh in December by doing something different. Mods can announce a deadline before December 16 for submitting members' contribution.

Members can write poems or stories or just share their feelings/memories abt this special day. Some of us can contribute photography. Some of us can draw..can recite..can sing..make something special etc.
And then we can share all these in a particular thread.
Comments will be shared in another thread.
Thus this could be our own way of celebrating our special occasions.
How does that sound?
