Sexual abuse is a very common issue in each and every country which counts a good share of the total crime. To deal with it is not so simple; due to its various nature. Its true that in our country not much sexual education is provided. But it doesnt mean that a child will be taught everything about sex. That doesnt make any sense to me. Look at the advanced countries, almost all the children knows about sex in an early stage. What is their condition? Horrible. believe me its simply horrible. We are in a better condition compared to those so called advanced countries. Problem is that we r so conservative that we just blame the girls.
To prevent it to occur frequently our parents should do teach us about the privacy of body parts. they should be able to differentiate among good touches and bad touches. It starts with simple touches.. n finally the consequence is horrifying.. for the child.
I dont tell the parents to be religious ...but at least they should try to create some values in the mind of their children.
Parents should (especially mother) listen to the child (esp girl) properly rather ignoring... it may happen that they will not be willin to speak much about any bitter experience... but as immatured they will utter some words related to that. Then the parents have to take immediate action but shouldnt do anything that upsets the child/
In most of the cases children are abused by someone they know. The abuser takes chance by keeping the relation secret. so parents should make sure that they do give proper time to their child... so that they dont need to seek other adults' company.
