Band Info, Breach Band Name: Breach
Why was the name given? :
Well its got a very powerful and rebellious feel to it, which goes well with the band's outlook, especially onstage...a very compact name.....one word says it all.
Genre : Rock
Date of Formation : 2002
Band History :
Me(Ashraf) and Nader(ex-bassist) always dreamed of forming a three man band. We started practicing cover songs with Nafis(Kronic/Dethrow), with me on vocals and guitars, and Nader on bass. After a few months of jamming we realised that a one-guitar band sort of lacked sound maturity. A friend of mine introduced two guitarists to us, who were looking for partners to play in a band as well: who, you might as well guess, were Onaisee and Omair. And thus, BREACH WAS FORMED!!!! *star wars theme playing in the background*
Well its been the usual from then on....playing shows and all.
The good thing was that we started composing our own songs right from the beginning, and we played one in our first show as well; Shumon Bhai of Aurthohin heard "Tobuo"(thanks to Tanim bhaiya) and was kind enough to talk to Khaled Bhai of G-series which led to us getting a record deal to produce and release our debut album. So it's been all about playing shows and recording really. We've managed to compile all our efforts together in this meantime and have come up with quite a number of songs. Also, two songs were released in mixed albums "Agontuk2" and "Dinbodol" and one UNFORTUNATE MISTAKE, namely, "Prothom Chitkaar - The First Scream".
In between, there were changes in the band line up....Nader had to leave for higher studies; that's when Micah came in, in 2003. Nafis quit the band, when joined Jonathan. Jonathan left for higher studies in 2004, but he recorded 3 songs for the album before he left: Nafi(Cryptic Fate) agreed to play drums on the rest of the songs in the album and he's been playing ever since, both in the studio and live shows. Micah left for higher studies at the end of 2004 but he did his share of bass takes for the album. We'r still on the lookout for a replacement bassist...possible options have been spotted though.
Onaisee is studying abroad as well, but he remains a permanent member in the band; so is Jonathan.
Onaisee comes back from time to time and works on his input for the band.
So to sum it all up, we'r currently off from doing shows since studio work is hectic enough. Soundgarden(Recording Studio) is where these "creative minds" cough up their "talents" to produce songs. Helping us out in the studio, is none other than Duray bhai. That's all really.

Member Info:
Name of Members : Ashraful Abedin Khan, Omair Khan Panni, Onaisee Saeed, Jonathan Alexander.
What does each member play?
Ashraf - Guitars and Vocals, Lyrics
Onaisee - Guitars
Omair - Guitars
Jonathan - Drums
Influences :
My(Ashraf) main influences are Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Rage Against the Machine. Though I prefer the early 90s grunge sound more than anything else, Metallica, Guns n Roses, Silverchair, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, U2, Michael Jackson, Maroon5 and countless others are also within my likes.
Onaisee prefers the new age sound...he adores Korn, Deftones, Limp Bizkit and Rage Against the Machine. Then again, at times, he diverges away into the likes of Tool and Pearl Jam as well. "Anything that gets your head rolling and body aching. Anything that has depth in meaning" he says.
Omair wishes that he was born in the 80s. Though you'll rarely find him talking about any single particular band, he likes to listen to Ozzy Ozborne, Tool, Pearl Jam and Iron Maiden. But more than those, you can find him getting high on Joe Satriani, Jason Becker, and any guitar solo from an 80's glam rock record.
Jonathan cherishes melody. Dave Mathews Band, Iron Maiden and Goo Goo Dolls are a couple of his favourites. In addition, he also shat his pants the day I showed him the Tony Royster Jr. video.

Ashraf : Sammick guitar, Line 6 Pod 2 processor, lost my mic.
Onaisee : Schecter and Ibanez guitar, Zoom 707 II processor.
