i alway like to say that safety first....but not now humanitarian should not stop their aids....actually kidnapers kidnap foreign workers and kill them to impose sensation.......but they r very few in number & eventually normal people nerver suport their activity...if humanitairian stop their program...then the prople of this area could not survive......so ,,,,i belive that war should be stoped,,,and humanitarian should work under a protective roof... |

The Afghan government is worse than the Iraqi government always blaming Pakistan for it's failures. Not to say Pakistan has no fault at all. |

there were constant security threats.in a war torn country filled with extremists there are hazards everyday, countless times they lived in standby to evacuate instantly, while bombing was going on near their workplace.we here at bangladesh, lived in terrible fear for her, whenever we saw something like this in bbc...it felt so helpless.
BRAC gave my sister's group sufficient security, atleast noone she knew ever faced abduction,or other forms of torture.but so often we see these tragedy's happen.the doctors go there to heal poor, innocent suffering people, the engineers to rebuild a broken country, the social workers and volunteers to heal the damages..they take all the risks-just to help.yup, the pay is good, but unless one is really willing to help others ,noone goes there.
and these people,in return for all they do..get suffering, cruel torture, often death..how inhuman is that?
not that all aid should be stopped, how can the world function if that happened?but cant the organisations they work for, give a minimum level of protection?the afghan government often takes these helping hands for granted, its high time they realised that unless they did somthing to ensure the safety of volunteers, soon they will be left with nowhere to turn to. if i could hold on through the tears and the laughter..
would it be beautiful?or just a beautiful disaster..? |

Bush was the one to aggravate them in the first place. if Bush did not rage war, then we would not have to see a day like this. nd how exactly to avoid this situation in the future? well, there is not an easy solution cuz everything has gone so deep that we can't go back.
negotiation might be one, but i don't think anyone is ready to do that. nd all those people who go there to help, i really respect them. they have courage nd the heart. r kotoi ba marte parbe ora?
i just hope, someday they will realize this nd all this war will be over. |
