Well, I had no say in it because in my case, this was done by my parents without me being matured enough to think freely.
I'm sure there are many of you praticing the same notion as well. Now that you have grown enough to think about it, what are your thoughts? Was that ethical?

I mean now that I 'm being honest about this everyone else might not be and she/he might stay at their jobs a little longer.Honesty doesn't pay always. |

personally i hate this thing.but if all my batchmates ended up gaining two job years more than me that would be unfair too..so in the end i consented to this.nowadayz birth registrations are being ensured,so i hope that will stop this very disturbing and weird trend of datechanging. if i could hold on through the tears and the laughter..
would it be beautiful?or just a beautiful disaster..? |

anyway, my age was reduced one year .. EXCLUDING my reason ... for all the others (Bangali cultural reason ?) .. especially the reason that habijabi mentioned: "we will get more years of salary in service," is honestly .. wrong. i mean, it is kind of like doing it for ur own advantage nd as Gemini said .. it infringes ur original identity. in some cases, however, people may be bound to change their age for whatsoever reasons .. nd even if that is for a personal gain .. it is something totally different. i, personally, did not want to change my DOB .. but it had to be done .. so yea, i really had no choice.
sorry for being so vague guys .. maybe i shouldn't have posted at all . |
