okay ... imagine this scenario:
this person is in coma for 14-15 years, okay?
... akhon the family decides okay ... he should die because there is no hope, there is no cure.
BUT ... what if the person himself/herself doesn't want to die?
no one would ever know right? unless a miracle happens all of a sudden.
so oikhane ki kora uchit? death allow kora uchit?

dark_saint -- i don't really understand why it's "disgusting". could you elaborate on your answer plz?

hmm...Well..brishtir chonde apu..I heard a father kill her daughter, as she was suffering from sum illness..I'm not sure what it was..I think she was a 12 yr old..but..acted lyk a 4yr old or sth...she ddn even have a mom..and so..he ddn want to see his daughter in any further pain and therefore "freed" her .. he was arrested under first degree murder..

pori has another point..if that person wants to live..then I don't think there's anyone who has the right not to let him/her do so.
