Suppose you are deeply in love with someone.The other one is trying to force you to marry him/her but you couldn't marry because you don't have a job, the family aren't supporting the idea etc etc. At that time luckily you got a golden opportunity to go to abroad in order to study or for a job for 3 or 4 years.But you know that once you are away from her/him the fate of your relationship would be quite uncertain.If you chose to stay it can be a big blow for your career building and you might not be able to get the chance again.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?? WOULD CHOOSE TO STAY FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR LOVE OR GO TO ABROAD FOR STUDY OR JOB?

Generally, nothing over another. I'd rather prefer a balance. Life goes out of whack when you choose one over the other

But specifically in reply to your post errr....when the other person is FORCING you to marry them or give up your hopes/dreams/plans/expecations, its for their own advantage cuz they are not seeing your point of view, they don't care about what may be important for YOU. That ain't love man That's pure selfishness. And they'll more likely be that way for the rest of your lives if you do marry them. You should run from people like that anyways!!!! Screw that kinda relationship whether going abroad or not.

well i quite like Gemini's idea that if a person really loves you then he or she will not make you do anything forcefully and we should not live our life with them.But that other person's story may not like this.Most of the time in this country when any female enters into adulthood or she already finished her studies(undergraduate) then her family applies tremendous pressure on her to marry.Sometimes it is not really possible to withstand such pressure.She may be really sweet and really feels happy that her bf is getting a good opportunity.If she has no other alternative then is it really a sign of possessiveness to ask her lover to marry her because she wants to spend her life with him?

Somebody are saying to balance the situation.But how?
