Severus, I accept the fact we shouldn’t blame sheikh Mujib for his son’s wrong doings but we should blame him for not doing something about it as the leading body of the country. “Sheikh Kamal, eldest son of the Prime minister attempted to rob a bank”

Father of nation is like a role model but who wants a role model that punishes civilians but protects family members. He can’t be a father who treat family differently then his country man or shell I say son or slaves as bakshal rule would have made the sheikh family as the royal family. The man fought for our rights, did nothing when our resources were being transferred to India!
After the surrender of the Pakistan army, the Indian forces stayed back in Bangladesh at the request of Bangladesh government. Indian army took away, all surrendered arms, ammunitions, equipments and vehicles worth millions of dollars. They even dismantled the industries and sent them to India. They even removed all furniture’s, fittings from the cantonments they had occupied. The newspaper Anik estimated the value of the things taken away by the Indian army to be 1000 million US dollars that was published in their issue of December 1974. “Mr. Kamal Siddiqui, a freedom fighter who was appointed as Deputy Commissioner at Khulna just after the liberation wrote a formal note to both the Bangladesh and India governments stating that Indian army was removing machineries, vehicles, equipments worth millions from his district. He at his own initiative tried to resist the Indian army as much as he could in collaboration with the freedom fighters.”

The man asked for blood for freedom and later forgot those who gave that blood! “ I think it is sad that just for Mujib and his descendants' advantage that many, many other people who did just as much work-if not more have their hard work systematically erased from history by Mujib and his followers; some of them were even murdered.”

rather i suppose he was trying to do good for his country in his own way..because he knew that what kind of person is going to come after him..may be that makes him take that decision..but in no way we have seen him done any wrong for this country....otherwise he wouldnotbe prasied al over the country still now
