sometimes ... actually most of the time, parents expect their children to be in a certain profession when they grow up. for example: doctor, engineer, architect etc.
so, my question to u all is, do u think it's okay for a parent to do that? or should the children be given the opportunity to choose their own path in life? p.s. i have an odd feeling that this thread exists already. |

Gender: | | Last Online: 07-06-2008 11:51 PM Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: my very own cosy cave | | i agree actually. my best friend Sarah, she wanted to be an interior designer nd trust me, i've seen her work. she really has the potential but her parents r forcing her to get into medical which is a completely different field nd she pretty much dislikes it a lot. she also regrets it cuz tar onek ichha chilo omon korar. but her parents r like interior designer howa naki respectful profession na nd i totally disagree. cuz interior designers na thakle i guess amader bashar floor plans keo banato na. it would have been kind of tough, wouldn't it?
nd moreover, even if someone is a taxi driver, we should respect them cuz they're contributing to the society nd we need them right? |
