although bangladeshies generally dont do this , except friendly hug(among same sex only ), but in various countries it goes different. Arab peoples kiss on each others chick to greet or show respect /affections ... in many country public kissing among lover is normal . what is your opnion abt that

actually my opinion lies in your statement . u hav already said that this expression varies fm country to country. actually this is not somethin defined in constitution! it just follows tradition. sometimes it depends on religion.
for example two hindus greet each other by sain namaskar. while two muslims r supposed to greet each other by sayin assalamu alaikum.
so people express their greetings to others followin their religion, social tradition n so on.

affection dekhaitey to ashubidha nai, if the opposite person is willing. amader Bangali der baro dosh holo, we always say and feel like "Angur fol tok" [grapes are sour]. if sum1 hugs in public place to opposite sex, our reaction will be, "chi chi Desh er ki holo?" whereas we are thinking in mind, "Shala r beta oi maiya r friend hoye gesey, ar ami Modon ki korlam jiboney?". as a result, Jalousy. and Jalousy creates.....bla...bla...story, uponnash, etc etc.

it's not the showing affection is concerned, amader sick mentality ta e to thik howa dorkar agey. not all Hugs are indicators of love or emotional attachment

I agree with Jigsaw but still there are some really irritating couples who think the public places belong to them only.Ja icchah moton hashahashi kore,chillai lafalafi kore.most importantly these show-offs are the only ones who irritate me.
