Respect to parents

I always respect my parents.
But problem is my father is very friendly to me.it sometimes give me pain.

we owe our parents respect .. nd every other thing we can afford to give to them .. .. our parents had a choice .. they could have either thrown us away to a garbage can or .. taken care of us .. nd parents always choose to take care of us .. cuz we, children r the symbol of their love .. .. if they threw us away then u could have said we owe them nothing .. otherwise if u say that .. it would be completely wrong .. cuz parents do EVERYTHING possible to feed their children .. some even starve themselves ..
i really wonder how u would feel when ur child would come up to u one day nd say .. "DADDY .. I OWE U NOTHING .. U DID UR STUFF ND NOW I'M GONE .. THANKS A LOT"

this does not mean u have 2 b ungrateful... its also dosen mean dat we do wht our parents say word to word!!
and personally speaking i'd be happy is my son/daughter tells me "good bye dad, um gone" even with out the thank you... coz this is wht we xist for, not respect!! my son wud owe me nothing and these are not my words...

doesn sound at all bad... u have ur view so do i... it shudn get in the way of egos nd feelings...

i do live wid my parents and i love them aswell...
if i were born on the streets i'd live like more than half the ppl in dhaka do....

leaving my family and personal life apart... um talking about ppl who suffer frm mental nd at times physical torture frm parents even after they fear to raise their eyes infront of them!!
wud u respect such parents?? is it not better to live without such parents?? is it not right tht everyone is treated fairly instead of being enslaved by parents??

nd again, y wud i regret whn my child leaves me?? its rather illogical, i wud be very joyful coz i wud then knw tht i have done my job as a father fairly well nd made my child worthy of facing the real world!

The way we show our respect to our parents, I don't think it's enough...shob baba-ma onek kosto korei chele-meye der boro koren...we who are not parents yet won't understand this...and as a Muslim we are supposed to respect our parents as much as possible...but we don't do that...

I don't know about others but ami kokhono amar parents er shathe fair behave kori nai...i mean baba er shathe amar ekta distance ache...cause baba ke ami onek pore peyechi, so closeness ta nai...Ammu'r shathe jhogra legei thake abroad e asha'r por theke...now-a-days I'm kind of chup chap...shudhu shudhu gunaah baray laabh ki...parents ja bhalo mone kore koruk...I decided not to talk over them!!
