I am one of those people. I guess the trick is to be diplomatic without disappointing someone or pissing the hell outta them (but sometimes people deserve the bluntness...so there can always be an exception). And sometimes saying a simple No is a lot better than just giving in to some people's requests and kicking yourself later. Prevents people from taking advantage of you Hell won't break lose if you don't always be there for someone...especially if they don't value it. Cut yourself some slack once in a while. It's kinda good for your own self esteem.

I feel a lot better personally when I'm being straight instead of beating around the bushes I don't like being too nice to people anymore. I used to be one of those nice people. I used to pay for people's lunch when they "forgot" or "ran out cash" every other day. Sometimes you just gotta be a bit bitchy with people for your own sake, I guess
But...I'm nice. I just wont allow people to get too used to it.

i was (still am one of those nice people but only to friends nd close people) .. but i still tend to get a bit bitchy at times .. if i disagree with something .. i would not just sit there looking dumb .. i like expressing my opinions .. if i don't like something i would say it to u straight .. (no hard feelings!) ..
nd i think it is good to be straight forward .. cuz as Gemini said .. it's all for ur own good ..
i've helped around friends so many times .. to save their ass .. but where did i end up? .. no where .. i got bashed in the ass instead .. so now i just simply don't care .. i do my thing nd if i don't like something i say it .. at least it puts the other person off from annoying me!

straight forward people are very helpful in situations when u dont want the other person to just say things coz they're trying to be nice...ud want clear-cut advice with less art...i like people like that. but i dont think i could hang around with one everyday...

im usually very judgemental abt what i say to others at normal times...too scared to hurt their feelings...but im straight forward when giving advice. definitely

^ i agree with both of u sometimes the situation is such that u have to stir the truth so that noone gets hurt and i think everyone who says they are straight forward all the time have a tendency to do this aswell without knowing it..
