Weekly holiday on Sunday or Friday?

friday..... definitely friday... if sundays a holiday..... then..... saturday and sunday r holidays...and friday wud be half day...for the jumma.... bangalira emni ailsha.. dey dont need ne more excuses to be more!!!

now we r loosin 3.5 days. if we get holiday on Sunday and prayer break or even half holiday on friday we will loose only 0.5 day!!!!!!

i dont get the reason behing thursday as a half holiday.....and we should not have 2 consecutive holidays as we are a lazy country....so friday and sundays shud be holidays

We should be smart, in changing global scenerio. Almost all developed nations enjoying their only holiday on sunday. And, if we dream to be a developed nation. We must change ourselve. If muslims say, no sunday holiday considered as for christians. Then?

Nop, professionalism is first then the emotion. Atleast for here, We BD ppl have not much option left to stand still on a good base.

So, I will go for 1 weekly holiday and that is on Sunday

Like many other countries, USA has holidays on Sat-Sunday. I read in prothom alo that Pakistan also changed their holiday from Friday to Sunday to catch up with the world economically.

ar Friday'r prayer er jonno 1.5-2 hours is enough I think.

I think the caretaker govt will announce sunday as official holiday and no other parties will protest it. in fact they support it behind the curtain. but due to the relitgious sentiment of the public .but this time they wont let the opportunity be wasted!!!
