Mainly because religious terrorism is actually the cover up of the actual intensions of the sick human mind. The Al-qaida was formed in the 80s by 2 men. One of them still lives on, called ossam bin laden. Its main intensions were to unite as muslim brothers and drive off the russians from afganistan. When it was succesful he took advantage of it and more Emir Generals were promoted to his status and thus we have the world's greatest terrorist group, simply because it has no leader and different commanders. Then they took advantage of the thinned down country of afganistan and set up bases over there and also in sudan and somalia. The UN and USA saw to it and removed them from everywhere and they existed only in afganistan.
My main reason of including this is that what was the al-qaeda's intension of still training the mujahideen when the russains already left the country?
What religeous causes are there to train men to kill others when there is no war to fight, unless they had plans to create their own war.
my opinion based on facts...
