Default Re: Windows Vs Linux

hmm..used both of this.
Only a couple of years or more , *NIX platform was not so ez-to-use due to its majorly NON-GUI based system [ though I think it is it's power ].
Now *nix , specially RedHat and Ubuntu has something very special in GUI interface.
and Now I totally support Linux.

I dont support Unix or Linux systems.

I am a home user.. and they dont really come to much of my use : ) .. since i cant play my games in them.

Windows handles games and medias very nicely...

However, when it comes to servers ..where stability and performance is required, Linux systems will always win : )

Of course linux is better in network and alot of adavantages but its little hard to deal with and microsoft support for windows is better and windows is easier

actually both linux and windows have adavntages but windows has many disadvantages ....... But the competition is still up and microsoft is getting better everyday

ei gula ki bolo muhai..?
all Linux distributions can play MP3 files as long as you have the correct player and the decoder. Here's how you can install "XMMS", a Winamp look-alike audio player for Linux:

Go to "Add/Remove Program" menu, and search for xmms from the search box. After that, it will ask you whether you want to install it or not. Once you say "yes", it will download and install XMMS on your computer. You can then access it from Applications > XMMS.
Now headbang to your MP3s and have fun!
