Inferiority niye kisu bolar nai. It's not as much the matter of inferiority as it is the discouragement girls get against pursuing subjects in Science and Technology. Especially in cultures as such our own. Oneke persue korte chaileo sometimes nana dhoroner problemer mukhomukhi hoy. But things are changing for good.

I myself was not that much interested in that particular field so I didn't go that way. Amar parents er onek ichha chilo I go into medicine and stuff but I don't like to be conditioned like that. There's more to life than being a doctor or an engineer. In our culture, "good" careers bolte ei duitakei pradhanno dewa hoy and there lies my problem. I have always been a lil artsy and prefer keeping my options open and choosing my own path. I'd rather work with people who needs someone they can turn to. Anyways....like I was saying before: It's almost the end of 2007. Threads like these should not exist

na na.............i dont think women are not capable of workin these fields.
but in respect of our country in technical field there are big problems for womens..

there are two cases;

1: In our office there are rapid works.........we have huge rush hour workin...
womens in this respect are not seemed to provide field supports...........and they are found to be uncapable of takin these exciting stress...
But its only on my behalf what ive seen..........there are many women who full fill their work in a quality way.

2: In bangladesh girls are found damn lazy for workin in technical field..
Such as my friends(female) were damn good in class but when they are asked out..............they refuse to perform the jobs im doin...sayin its not possible on their part to carry...........

I know a lot of men who hate Math (am sure am not the only one). And they're 100% heterosexuals. And they make a pretty good living and/or otherwise are good students. So to say that only women hate math or is inferior to science/tech is just STUPID.

And for the record and the sake of this thread: My mother is better at Math than my dad. Although her career doesn't involve having great knowledge in Math, she has a more demanding job that requires a lot of responsibility from her part than him.

And for the second record: none of them are airheads.
