There are many books but I would have to say "Open your mind, open your life: A book of Eastern Wisdom" by Taro Gold taught me the most. The book contains some truly mind and life opening quotes by figures like Mahatma Gandhi, Confucius, Nichiren, Goutam Buddha, Lao Tzu etc. Some of my favourite quotes are:
