Arbovirus started their journey in mid 2002 with the lineup Ishtiaque on Vocals, Himel on Drums, Suharto and Ranjan on Guitars. Initially they didn’y have any bassist and after a while Jishan joined the band as the bassist. After appearing in some concerts, Arbovirus almost dissolved as their vocal and drummer left the band. Arbovirus took a while to find new members and in 2003 Sufi joined as the vocal and Tanim joined as the drummer and Arbovirus became the group they are today. Their first single “Artonaad” came out in the end of 2003 in the compilation album "Agontuk-2" and it grabbed everybody’s attention. Their 2nd single "Obhishaap" came out in another compilation album "Din-bodol" in early 2004 which and it was a massive hit. "Obhishaap" is still one of the most popular songs in the underground rock scene. Another of their singles "Shopnadrishto" was released in the compilation album "Lokayoto" later that year. Their debut album "64m 53s" was released in in July 2006 which introduced different sides of Arbovirus. With an album showing their different musical tastes from psychedelic rock to alternative music to numetal to classic rock they came out from their numetal image.

hmm..i like SHUVO[sufi] bhai..even akta concert e onare akta t-shirt gift korsi arbovirus likha..3-4 yrs back..i was kind a crazy fan of arbo .. shouharto n ranjan er prochondo bhab..though i must admit that they are good musician
