Anti-Corruption Concert on Saturday, March 8 - the 100th International Women's Day !

TIB is organizing an Anti-Corruption Concert on Saturday, March 8 - the 100th International Women's Day. The slogan is "Jago Manush - Nari Odhikare Jago" (Stand up - for Women's Rights). Consistent with our efforts to create and strengthen a gender-sensitive anti-corruption movement, the thematic basis this time is the relationship between anti-corruption movement and women's rights movement. Progress in women rights movement cannot be achieved and sustained without fighting corruption effectively, and vice versa.

Organized in collaboration with the ACC, the Concert will feature prominent musicians of the country like Farida Parvin, Syed Abdul Hadi, Kangalini Sufia, Fahmida Nabi, Azam Khan, Mehreen, Krishnokali, Shahed and bands like Renaissance, Souls, Orthohin, Maksud O Dhaka, Dolchut, Black, Yaatri etc. Awaj a musical group of garment workers will also perform. Eminent citizens including Chairman of ACC and TIB will make special appearance to express solidarity with young audience and inspire them to stand up against corruption.

The concert will be held at the Gulshan Youth Club ground (behind Wonderland Amusement Park), Gulshan-2, during 2.00 p.m. - 9.00 p.m. Gates will open at 12 noon. Entrance is free, but entry coupons are necessary.

I was in EFA in last year .......The Concert was quite good ......but this year it's really boring concert ...hopefully nxt year .......a good open air concert will b held
