Concert on 30th August at Scholastica STM Hall

A memorial Concert for Faisal Robin will take place this Thursday, August 30 @ STM Hall (Scholastica, Uttara) featuring the top and rising bands of the scene. Proceeds from the concert will go to cancer patients and flood victims.

Faisal Robin was an aspiring Computer Scientist at the Florida Institute of Technology. But his aspirations never saw fulfillment. In the year 1996 he went to Florida Institute of Technology with 75% scholarship to study Computer science and Engineering. He completed his A levels from Maple Leaf International school. He was a former member of the ‘TAG’ (TEENAGE AWARENESS GROUP). With support and help of The Daily Stars the ‘TAG’ used to carry out their works.

In the month of May of the year 1999 Robin felt a pain in his lower abdomen. But his health insurance doctor without any formal x-ray kept on treating his kidneys. When it was too late he was taken at a critical stage to the Fairfax Hospital. As reported by the hospital he was infected from a tumor which carried the cancer germ and burst. So his cancer treatment was going on chemotherapy, in this situation on 10th august of the year he had to end his promising stay in this world leaving his family and friends far behind. He was the eldest son of the family. He was 23 years old when he passed away. He was a victim of careless and ill-treatment.
The concert will raise funds for the RAJSHAHI CANCER HOSPITAL in his memory.

Mechanix made the crowd to go crazy with the cover of master of pupets and painkiller and the oc's were well taken by the crowd as they were all headbanging...\m/ and oparejeo has become my fav...

theres this band Inside U and they coverd Warfaze's Nei proyojon.. and it was totally unxpected by me and i guess others and aro surprisingly they cover its my life...:P

Prayer hall and ornob was sweet to hear... and really like it and now am into prayer hall...

black wow wow *shoot*.. what a stage act...it was off the Hook... moshpit jump whatnot..started with ondho.. and then 35 which make the crowd jump lyk hell.. porahoto was next which was soothing..then suddenly jon sings some line from killing in the name of by rage i wish they do it.. and finished with ? with a moshpit....

Nemesis Nemesis i love nemesis but YesterdaY cover's song was kinda lyk some thing was missing but who cares i lyked it... pardon me and beautiful day was the two cover song and beside that they did dhushor bhabna , obocheton , new day which was so soothing ....

Powersurge make the STM hall wild with their thrashy oc ...\m/...

Eclipse was amazing with their own tracks ..ahoban was the best..\m/

the weird guy was Tanveer. that boy once danced to CHASER jingle - like Ferdous - in school. Free show. he's too good !

and old fat lady was Kazmeen who was trying to show some power which she had not
