Ravenous anyone?

Ravenous is one of the most atypical movies I’ve ever seen in my entire life. It’s an awesome movie directed by Antonia Bird and starring Robert Carlyle, Guy Pearce and many more. I was simply blown by the performances of both Robert (Calhoun\Ives) and Guy (Boyd). When I saw it for the first time I couldn’t get my eyes off Robert. He was damn good, trust me. But it’s not like that Guy was shadowed by him. Guy was as good as Robert. They complemented each other throughout the film. They both were too good in their parts. I really loved the character “Boyd”. He’s not the typical brave hero that he should have been as a soldier, which he was in the film. He was actually the “bechara” of the movie until Calhoun made him eat!! The film is based on cannibalism. Both the characters have many dimensions. One has to watch it from the very beginning how they both are related. The way the story starts, the way the suspense revolves and ends, and finally how the whole movie ends is just too good. I couldn’t move from the spot while watching it. I saw it alone and I was simply shaking when Robert was just standing (!!!!) in front of Guy up on the hill. I was just thinking that I would have jumped if I was there and Guy jumped. Too raw.

Yup, I've seen "Proposition". The next movie coming is “First snow” starring Guy Pearce. Waiting for that one.
