great idea zypie !

i am born into the Bangladeshi culture and i am stuck into it. I see my freinds being deeply influenced by the western ( US ) culture, .. more or less, i am also stuck to that, but to smaller extent ( music, mostly ) .. not clothing n all .. i like to wear bangali clothing .. panjabi is my favourite. .

Hey there Zyp!
I'm also from Bangladesh. Now living in New York for 6 yrs. I love my culture. I don't think I've changed much coming to NY . I love Bengali songs, books and yeah..I don't get to wear the usual clothing (salwar kamiz-sari) here but when I visit my country I feel more comfortable wearing them.
One thing I can say about my culture is that we are very sensitive about what we have and we will do anything to preserve it. We are also very friendly as u can see in Golpo!

I see nothing in your eyes, and the more I see the less I like.

Heyy frm another BANGLADESHI GIRL ...I'm Tanha

I'm living in Toronto for 5 yrs...tht means I left BD when I was in grade 10..'n I dont like to Live here...I miss Bangladesh every single sec. of my life

about our culture...well...

our mother langugae is "BANGLA"

our main foods are Rich and Fish > and I LOVE FISH

I, specially, love to wear Sharee and Salwar-Kamiz >> I usually dont wear sharee but salwar-kamiz is my everyday dress...I even wear this dress in winter...I'm used to it...I dun feel comfortable in jeans...and here in Toronto...most asian ppl wear this dress...so I never really felt like I'm a stranger...

Next comes music....I listen to every type of music..doesn't really matter wat language it is...

I never tried to mix my culture wid another one...if anyone asks me about my culture..I feel proud...I'm proud to be a Bangladeshi...I love my culture 'n love my country...
