Baaire Outing hoile.. S.Marteens still amar top most priority!

And Im lookin forward to go there...again! in this season..

A piece of eutopia 2 hours sail from teknaf........ the simplicity and beauty of it is spell bounding........ the water .....transparent blue with yellow sand spaning the 8 mile long beach............ coconut trees ornamenting its edges............. St. Martins.... is truely a must visit for every Bangali out there.....

I have been there, as the Island is part of job area. The thing is we usually go there for fun & enjoyment, but forget to do it responsively. with only 836 acres of land and only fresh water level upto only 8-10 feet, there's no way the only Coral Island of Bangladesh can hold on to such greater number of tourists each day visiting the Island. Funny thing is there are almost 25 Hotels/ Guest House in the island and none of them have proper Authenticated papers from the Authority (Land Ministry/ Environment Ministry). And the surface of the Island is not viable to uphold the Huge Establishments (such as multi storied hotels). Sewerage system is not properly monitored. Do you guys know that, the sewerage from the hotels are mixing the waste with the only source of fresh waters? Next time when you visit the island, make sure, you are enjoying the scenery and not disturbing the Eco-system of the island.
