Every deleted or modified post had a particular reason like off topic, spamming, offensive wording etc. And for those reasons, we have to modify a lot of posts everyday. It is NOT possible for a moderator to PM the member for each deleted post. The best way to find the deleted posts is to browse the threads in which you have posted. And the "Find all posts by .. " will help you in this case. You will get a at a glance view of your posts, and if you thinks that there was a post missing, you may remember the thread name.

the ans i got from another forum was something like this:

everyday the mods have to delete over 20 to 30 posts. sometimes the scenario is such that of those posts 10-15 posts are of the same member.So if there is a automatic system of pm then he will get 10-15 pms only to say that your posts were deleted for bla bla reasons. and if 20-30 posts were delete then the member will get 20-30 pms.It wont be a good thingi for new members and sometimes for old members too. anad with slower connection people will be fed up of posting. so, automatic system wont help that much

It can happen today if before posting you read the rules of golpo and the thread three or more times ....i always do this

There are rules for the entire forums. You will find what to post in the first post of any threads in most cases. Now why do you really want the moderators private messaging you every time they deleted one of your posts? I would rather read the rules thoroughly & try to maintain it than read approximately 10 private messages a day!
