indians hate us or luv us.......is nt relevant here....it is a matter of indian public perceptions......we should nt forget india was da only nation who stood with us while da whole world was just watching during 71. India may hav done so for it's own greater national interest.........nonetheless it has sacrificed dere own soldiers for our freedom..wat the pakistani armed forces did with the help of al-badr & rajakaars {now known as jamaat} was nothing more or less den GENOCIDE .........if the pakistani army finds it too embarrassing to apologize and regret for their actions.......then they shud be taken to the international court of justice...........for crimes against humanity....

yes for their own interests,again.never forget what India did/doing after the liberation.
we were bound to be liberated.Pakistan couldn't control us anymore.there was too much discontent.
I don't like being anti-India,but I am as they the BhIndians as well the BhIndian govt is anti-Bangladesh.India wants to be a true superpower and they want us to be their first puppet state.

coming back to topic.Pakistanis are a bit proud.The armed forces are respected there.

About India, I think it would be a great wrong judgment, if we think, India participated only for their own interest. Mass people of India helped to the maximum extent. Do you know, Indian were obliged to buy an extra postal stamp, along with the required one. The money from extra ticket went to the refugee fund. People of West Bengal and Tripura did their best to support us, without raising a single voice of disagreement.

It's true India is becoming super power, it's influencing over us. India had some political advantage in our 71 liberation war. But it would be big mistake if we interpret the help of mass people from India , as a political and calculated one. Let us respect them accordingly.

I am glad and grateful that the Indians helped,I am just pissed off about what happened later,after the war.I guess that is why people doesn't want to give too much credit to the Indians for our independence.

I have met many Pakistanis,well enough to tell me they will never apologize;they are too proud and arrogant.they have their distorted set of history books and sources and usual excuses.what Musharraf said once is all they will ever feel about the war ,"regret" not sorry.and now that some Sarmilla Bose(since she's of Indian origin her works are being called as neutral) came there will be more disputes on the facts.

Look, I don't think really we need to maintain a good relationship with pakistan to stop India from influencing. We all know that , after the cold war, that is happening, what USA wants. Now USA has a great relationship with India ( despite of leftist part being in partial power ) , they are having economical relationships. Now in this Zone, USA trusts India Maximum. Apparently, USA is also friend to Pakistan. But all of us, can realize the extent of friendship by this time. So, it's a childish idea to stop India by allying with born criminal state like pakistan. You can stop a growing super power only by lessening your deficits.

And about allying with pakistan , why we would ally ? Pakistan is a country of base-less people, with no cultural sense and little education. They are betrayer for ever. They haven't apologized for what they did in '71. I don't think they are worth talking.
