Zidane touches down at Dhaka

French football legend Zinedine Zidane touched down at Dhaka at 10:30pm Monday by a Singapore Airlines flight.
Sporting a black cap, Zidane drove straight to Sonargaon Hotel.
The school children have rehearsed for two days their planned display in honour of the French midfield maestro who is to launch a joint venture nutrition food plant of French company Danone and Grameen Bank.
Grameen Bank founder and Nobel Peace Laureate Muhammad Yunus invited the World Cup Golden Boot winner to Bangladesh.
They are receiving 'crazy' offers for "Zizou" as he is fondly called.
A clothing manufacturer has offered Zidane Tk 20 lakh for doing modelling for one of their products. Another man has offered TK 1 lakh for a Zidane autograph for his child.
He is receiving numerous calls with requests to introduce them to Zidane. They also requested for tickets of the exhibition match Zidane will be playing in Dhaka.
Zidane called time on his international career after the last World Cup final against Italy.
Zidane is scheduled to play an exhibition match at Bangabandhu National Stadium starting at 5:00pm Tuesday. He will play for both U-16 Mohammedan and Abahani teams briefly in the match before taking a lap in the stadium for the spectators.
Private satellite channel ntv will telecast the match live. The price of gallery tickets has been fixed at Tk 40, while the VIP tickets at Tk 100 to 300.
The tickets for the game will be available from 10:00am at the stadium booths. The gate opens at midday.
The BFF will present Zidane a blazer and a traditional Punjabi while Mohammedan and Abahani also have gift plans for him.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police will provide security to Zidane, who also has his own security. Zidane will lead a 27-member entourage.

anywaz..kalke news e sunlam je zidane o khelte namte pare..i m thinkin zidane BD er footballer der sathe khele ki experience archive korbe..?
we dont hav good ground..ekhon mone hoy ektu valo..bt not the international typ..dont hav that much experienced player..what we hav..iz our emotions..
sorry for postin lyk this..bt i m waitin for his comments after visitin bangladesh n playin with our players..
