It's the same fight like Microsoft vs Open Source, Windows vs Linux i think it depends on what you are planning to do with that ...

For Graphics / Gaming AMD rules ... it's also competitive enough for common desktop applications ... For general purpose computing Intel is better ... Actually, It's very hard to compare those stuffs

Bhai ..........AMD means Advanced Micro Devices.....So it's always advanced.........remember...it introduced 64 bit processor to the world .. if u rinto gaming an amd processor with the latest AGP cards ..especially ASUS PCI express cards can give u an INSANE .....performance ..........Man!!! And Intel is ...actually have a good marketing plan!! that's all .....................

Intel is most popular brand in our country. But I think AMD is the best.

Intel's most recent Core 2 Duo chips have beaten AMD's ones when they came out AFAIK.Before that AMD was always ahead of Intel especially when it came to gaming.
