Default Bangladesh v Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka skipper Mahela Jayawardene said his team had no intention of losing intensity for the final group game with India in Trinidad on Friday.

They are in control of Group B having won both opening games, while India and Bangladesh have one victory each.

"We're really enjoying the cricket we're playing and we're looking forward to the India game," Jayawardene said.

"We're going to take it very seriously, we don't want any team carrying two points into Super 8 instead of us."

Jayawardene was delighted with his team's performance against Bangladesh, Sanath Jayasuriya leading the way with a blistering 109.
The veteran shared 98 inside 15 overs for the first wicket with Upul Tharanga after Sri Lanka had been put in by Habibul Bashar.

"It was a brilliant effort and I was very pleased with the way Sanath and Upul Tharanga batted," Jayawardene enthused.
Chamara Silva contributed to a healthy total of 318-4 with an unbeaten 52 from 48 balls, featuring five fours and two sixes.

"We know Silva's talent, he plays spin pretty well and he's a touch player and has some fancy shots," his captain said.

"It's good to have them getting a knock early in the World Cup, breaking the shackles and getting in the mood.
"Our focus today was to concentrate on our strengths and play some smart cricket. "I'm very pleased. It's very important when you play against Bangladesh you just do not lose early wickets because obviously they only have five bowlers."
