Controversial former Test umpire Darrell Hair is set to officiate in his first international cricket game since last years debacle at the Oval, in Kenya next week.

Although banned from standing in international matches in November 2006, Hair has been appointed as an umpire for the ODI tri-series between Kenya, Scotland and Canada in Mombasa, starting on 17th of January.

The move appears to be consistent with the ban that involved Hair not officiating in matches that included full member countries, non of which are taking part in the tri-series.
