need help with isp

hello this might sound like a very dumb question but will my isp know if iam sharing my internet connection using a router. Dis guy once told me that they see the router as once pc only and therefore have no clue whether iam sharing the connection or not. the thing is i wanna to share my connection with my sisters pc but my isp has strict rules about that.....

If u r using linux mechine then its poss 100%.But in win platform its little bit diffcult.How many nic do u hav now if it is 2 then connect 1st one to ur isp & 2nd one to ur sis pc.U can conect ur pc with cross cable.after that share ur isp nic.dont put any ip on ur & ur sis connected nic.

Think this will resolve ur prob.For furthre just knock me

doubtfull..if ur con. based on MAC IP.

Isnt the mac address of the router different from that of a PC ?

In any case, the ISP will know. Stop cheating and get 2 connections or share the computer with your sister/brother/cousin/relative/me.
