What is your thought about Internet Explorer

The more I am passing time in Internet , more I am feeling that a huge number of people dont like Internet Explorer at all. What should be the reasons behind that ?

First of all , I think , its less customization. Not too many people are concerned about security things. People always want a customizable software. Just think , beside IE , how flexible , Mozilla FireFox is , with several extensions and addons and mostly with tabbed browsing.

well , with IE7 microsoft almost removed their "bad name" for customization. But theres a few problems also raised. 1st of all , the security issue. very recently [ 2 hrs ago ] I saw 3 major exploits regarding IE 6/7 . Before I saw 3 another major vulnerabilities about IE.

Another major problem is cpu consuming. I find that , IE 7 eats all of my cpus , since I install them.

now , what do you think about this ?

Hmm.. Most people hate 'Windows' OS.. But more than most people use 'Windows' OS.. I can tell the same thing for IE.. There is some site still doesn't work with FF or Opera.. But they r pretty good with IE.. N abt addons.. Well most of them r paid addons.. THats very bad.. N abt CPU resource hunger.. I didn't face the problem yet.. But kinda true its heavy than other browser.. I think one of the main reason is 'Genuine Validation'.. Theres a lots of people who can't use IE7 for this.. Besides Opera & FF is fully free..

hmm.. but I guess theres another problems with IE.

Like , malware can easily hijack IE . But its bit tough for them to hijack FF or opera.

I think , I have to forcefully close the IE more than FF or Opera. They are pretty much stable.
