History :

Anarchy is not a band, because a band usually consists of more than 3 or more people. Anarchy is more of a combination of 2 individual from diverse backgrounds of music and culture. Shanto grew up in KSA, with influances from different genres of music dominated more by the melodic essence of Pearl Jam, Extreme, Stone Temple Pilots, Tom Petty, Collective Soul, Live, Firehouse, Skidrow, Alice In Chains, etc. Imtiaz had a vibrant childhood, in a sense that he grew up in chittagong and spent lingering high school life in England, later on returning back to Chittgong. Now he is back in England again. When he was growing up, his taste in music entwined with anything and everything, ranging from classical to melodic to heavy metal. He actually never learned the guitar, it was as if he was embraced by it. Same goes with the Keyboard/Piano. He had vocal training in chittagong for a couple of years.

The name Anarchy originated from Shanto, back in 2001, when he was obsessed with "Quake III : Team Arena" and used play a with a charecter named "Anarki". The name mesmerised him and he always knew that if he ever had a band he'd name it "Anarki" or rather "Anarchy", as it is now.

Anarchy has had a lot of support from various musicians thru out its journey. To name a few : the members of Aashor, escpecially Abir Bhai is featured in one song. Nova of Breed. Syke of tNt, Apu Bhai of Kalpurush and Adnan of Eclipse has helped out a lot during the beginning of this project.

Anarchy has worked on over 15+ songs so far. No proper studio recording done yet except for the demo of the Accoustic version of "Dibashopno", "Shobder Abeg" [done with our old side-band "Hemorrhage"] and 2 other Accoustic demos recorded at home are "Kache Tomar..." and "Matritto" (an instrumental).

The two songs "Shobder Abeg" and "Dibashopno" r good but i love "Kache Tomar"
Imtiaz has a gr8 voice!
