Ershad Freed!

A Dhaka court Wednesday cleared HM Ershad of conviction in the Japanese boat purchase graft case, drawing a line under a long-drawn legal battle. In the final verdict on the case, the first additional district and sessions judge's court acquitted Ershad of the case. "He (Ershad) will remain the same as he is now," the court said. A lawyer said Ershad is at liberty. Mustafizur Rahman, a lawyer for Ershad, told bdnews24.com that there was no bar for him to take part in the election. "He (Ershad) doesn't have to serve a jail term. The sentence has already been served out."

Do u think that the cancellation of nomination of Ershad was influeced by BNP?

he he.. ami asholey astonished to see the diff of the court orders just within a few weeks. If we free the judicial system only, that wont help. we need to get rid of the weeds! i mean the corrupted judges.
