members should be allowed to delete/edit their posts in all sections... so they can check spelling errors, double posts... etc etc ... i discovered i cant delete some of my older posts

Normally the staffs don't go through old posts. If there is an abuse, by editing or deleting an old post, it might go unnoticed.

If you need to edit/delete your post please make a request to any moderator and they can help you with it.

Moreover I think 5 day is enough to check spelling errors, double posts.......
