Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Ur Hell In The Air

I had the luck of travelling in BIMAN, when i was 6 or 7, though I was too young to evaluate the goods and bads, all I remember was our flight being delayed... 
 
 
10 years later.. some days earlier.... 
 
 
A relative of my, came from england.. she booked her ticket with Biman. I heard about the hardships she faced. . lemme share a lil of it with u.. 
 
She landed on Bangladesh.. alone .. withoute her luggage. they were brought in another plane which comes from dubai after 3/4 hours or so.. So she had to wait alone inside the airport. Imagine the tension that eats u up , waiting for all your priced possesion for 4 hours in an airport, where, there is almost about no way, for ur relative to help u from outside.. you are more like a prisoner or refugee ...stuck in a camp. 
 
On her trip back, again, she learned that the flight would be delayed by 6 hours, thus, creating a very odd reporting time ( 4am.. very odd .. The roads of Dhaka are so safe ). The Biman ppl didnt call her, she was just calling to verify about the flight and they notified her about the delay only then. Imagine what would happen, if she had gone to the airport and learned about the delay ! .. 
 
Anyway. . 
 
I haave personal experience of calling their enquiry/helpline.. which, i must say, is much worse than that of a cheap laundry service telephone.. They have a lot of numbers with a lot of extensions.. but, after trying for 1 hour.. yes ONE WHOLE HOUR on the phone, all i got was the stupid PABX machine with voices of lousy beaten up women ! 
 
The planes itself, sucks ! .. My sister said that the temparature there must have been 30 degrees ! .. Imagine an international airliner of this magitude in this condition ! 
 
And so. . . Biman Bangladesh .. You Hell In the Sky

she didnt experience any hell in the sky ... jaihok ...

what i saw

1. cockroaches in the plane
2. air hostess argueing with the passenger
3. Air conditioning may sometimes go wrong

i have a experience flying in bangladesh biman dhk-ctg few times
i sat by the window...n i saw some rusty big whole on its wing
holly shit..drops of water falling on my shoulder..

Darkcrunk - yes, their support system Sucks
Severus - They DO have cockroaches, scrawling about.
Nneel - The aircrafts looks like Launches from Dhaka-Barisal

a few i use biman..
mostly use GMG.Pretty cln n nice inside.

Hey.. my experince with biman wasnt that bad. I heard many bad reviews about it. but in last december when i took that biman from New york. i had on problems and no complaints. Yeah.. we had few hrs of delays but thats about it. The food was TOO GOOD. I enjoyed all that food they gave us. I had such a great time when i left Dhaka from NY in Januray. it just god delayed by few hrs too. thats the only complain i had. Other than that... my fly in the sky was very enjoying.
they even called my in my village to tell me that my flight got delayed. i was shocked that they even called me for that.
WAY TO GO BIMAN. U are my HOME in the SKY. lol

Seriously bro, we should be proud of wat we have.
can u imagine wat would have happend if we didnt have our own planes and stuff.
Now, can you imagine how proud we bangali are who lives in New York and seeing our Biman flying above the United States. It may not be surprising to u but to me it is shocking and i am proud of that. when i drive by the airport road with my non-bangali friends, i can show them the sign that said "Biman Bangladesh Airlines" terminal #w4. thats hot man.

so i suggests, we all should help out bimans to grow and stop complaining too much. this way, nothing is gonna get done.
We as young pple has a duty to our country, it is us who can change that.

bhaia..did u kno tht da US stopped all da Biman BD Airlinez frm enterin their country?..akhon theke u wont b surprised or shocked but u wud b double surprised nd double shocked to c tht no Biman iz not flyin above ur headz..
Biman er DC-10 planez ato old hoye gese akhon je netime crash korte pare..lolz..so next time u travel in Biman..thn.....................................................

Hmm .. Fenir Pola ... why do you have this idea that we are Not trying to help Biman out ? ... We are complaning about them, and if the complains grow in numbers and magnitude, maybe the authorities would be forced to increase the budjet on maintainance of the crafts.

and HellzPori, not only Bangladesh Airlines.. soon, whole Bangladesh might be stopped from entering US.
