Default Educating the world about the 1971 Genocide

I hope this is the right section

This a project created by a group of Bangladeshi students at Kean Universitry, USA. They had a dream and a strong will about educating the world about the horrible genocide that took place in Bangladesh in 1971. Many people still aren't clear about what exactly took place during that time in our country, and unfortunately many still haven't heard of a country called "Bangladesh" or know much about it. They were determined to change that.

So they began their journey.

The professors and the Dean herself became interested by seeing how enthuastic, driven and hardworking the students were. where anyone interested can study about the genocide and earn an University Degree!

Without a doubt, this is something worth celebrating and something to be proud of. The efforts that have gone behind this project is overwhelming.

Check it out for yourself:

good initiative;I used to have very few interest in the '71 genocide with my "past is past" attitude except that distortion of the facts of the war and the genocide committed renewed my interests in it.

^^^ Same here, kinda. I've realized that it's very important for us to educate ourselves and the future generations the proper way (ie not getting into politics too much but sticking to historical facts as much as possible, and this is exactly what this project does) because as our history defines who we are, at the same time it also should prepare us to move on and move ahead. As a nation we should be able to rise from our tragic past with our head held high. No matter where in the world we are living, we are Bangaldeshi and we can't erase the mark off our skin and blood. And we can't move forward unless we KNOW exactly what our people have endured in the past, what kind of history our country is standing upon and how we came as far as the present.

Btw guys, our newest member Fallen grace i s the person behind this project

We love life, not because we are used to living but because we are used to loving.

why don't u want future peoples to go into politics? aren't we already doing politics in everyday life and so they'll?

Rajakars say this kind of things. They call our Freedom fighters traitors. I hope no Bangladeshi share this view. Something tells me these are rhetorical questions and you are not really looking for an answer cause show me a sane person who will say a genocide is justifiable.
