I would have deployed the army,navy and the air force gunships,seized the ports(sea and land) ,if necessary killed the protestors to stop them from disrupting the people's lives.Used gunships and armour to mow down the protestors.ek din korlei shoja hoye jabe.

Prime task must be "not listening to bnp/AL, and work for the interest for people."

1. Arresting the god father, criminals.
2. Economic reform.
3. Restriciting from the elections, for the black money holders.
4. Set a court to ensure punishment for the razakars.
5. Arresting the dirty political masterminds. And, put them on trial. No exception for ershad, tareq zia, mohiuddin, SA KA chowdhury etc, they should be on the trial too.
6. Putting the army totally locked inthe barrack. BNP always want to use them as their gun.
7. Keeping the democracy alive and best for people.

These could be the popular decisions I could have done.

1. criminal investigation against every alleged and rich party members
2. deployment of army as a peace keeping force ( not mow-down force )
3. reform the govt office and remove all biased officials
4. correct the voter list

Is this your best solution? lol. Find us some history that this would be fruitful. Army is army, and civilian is civilian. No one should interfare between them.
