Aj shomoy katche na amar.
Kisher chinta jeno mathae ghurpak khacche.
Majhe majhe mone hoe nejeke jaliye nishesh kore feli,
Abar majhe majhe mone hoe chitkar kore uthi.

Janina aj nijeke keno eto osohae mone hocche.
Janina ki cholche amar moner moddhe.
Mon to shob kichui bujhe, shob kichui jane,
Tobuo keno kotha bolchena amar mon?

Kokhono ba thaki hashi khushi,
Kokhono ba thaki onek dukhi,
Kintu aj moner majhe ache onno ek onubhuti.
Janina kemon, kintu mone hocche kono kichu hariye felechi.

Majhe majhe buk fatiye kante icche kore,
Majhe majhe mone hoe ami pagol hoye jacchi.
Janina keno aj emon hocche,
Janina ki kore ber hoye ashbo ei dukkher shagor theke.

Mon kade tar jonno,
Mon kade amar bhalobashar manushtir jonno.
Kintu keno kade amar mon emon manusher jonno,
J kina bindu matro bhalobashe na amar?

Keno j aj amar moner moddhe emon hocche.
Hoeto karon shei manushti jake ami bhalobashi,
Kintu bhalobashe na she amae.
Hoeto onno kichur jonno mon aj eto kharap.

Bhabte obak lage,
Tobuo bhebe cholechi ami amar harano bhalobashar kotha.
Keno bhabchi ami tar kotha?
Keno jole pure char khar hoye jacchi na ami?

Amar pashe darabar moto keu aj nei.
Karon ki nijeo jani na.
Hoeto shobai amar moto dukhi,
Hoeto dukkho dekhtei ami jonmechi ami ei prithibite.

Hoeto eitai amar kopal,
Hoeto emon bhabe katate hobe amar shara jibonti.
Shukh khuje j shukh pae na,
Tar jibon shongi holo dukkho.
R shei dhukkho kei,
Ami aj kore niyechi amar jibon shongi.
