Faded away

Halfway down the track,
When I looked back,
At the flashing memories of the sacred past
Innocence is broken,
Affections deep stricken,
Bitten by treacherous lust

the twisted path
broken at last...
discovered amidst truths piled up.
shadowed in the sun.
inflowing evermore.
the walks of the souls. lost to the core.

faith be feeble
behind the misty touch
falling with the urge that rises inside
Lest be lost
Out of sanity
Swiveling between the lines to hide

the cries unheard
of happiness earned
built in a longing craved over time
the nights of togetherness
that broke off dead ends
paving the road to eternal crime

beneath her skin
a pulse within
flowing through innocent stream
the despicable looks
of surroundings, strike
cursing the lives to a silent scream

suspicions leading to bitterness
pouring in for all time for all.
the sins created await
while the path moves on.
truth is what wins through at last.
faith though... was all that was lost.
