[Enigma]

Voice Within


Confused, insecured,
she locks herself in her tiny world,
which ends within the walls
seemingly, crushing her every vein
with agony, which never ends!
yet, she lives.......

In loneliness,
she closes her eyes and feels the pain,
tears flowing down her cheek, like sorrowful rain,
disguised,
all feelings and emotions flooding out, in a visionary drain
lost is her desire to live
lost, with her past
the real "her", once, used to be so pure and naive,
and yet, she lives.......

At night,when all alone,
she hears a voice,
deep within, she knows, she has a choice!!
The new life, growing inside her
cries for mercy, in great despair!
It says, " Don't kill me mother,I am your son,
I want to see the world, you live in"
and yet again, she lives......

with new hope and found faith,
now she lives......
