Now a days doing music has become a status of symbol in BD UG...Holding da guitar or drumsticks is more importn den knowing how to play dem...More imprtntly, the essence of livin on music has faded away...Few bands who doesnt evn hav da "T" of talent are going upstage jus wid da power of money...Again da blame also goes to da concert arangers who follow da "ticket selling" formula....And da worst part is....dese ppl get 2 buy a gibson lespaul and still goes 2 buy a BCrich warlock....nd da reall ppl sticks up wid our local Givson....Dese wannabe bands r now growing lyk mushrooms...For example.....i live in dhanmondi 4 no......and in my knowledge dere are abt 9 bands including my own living in dis same street.....well dats in my knowledge.......er baire koita asse jani na......And dese wannabez are making problems for da reall tallents.....dese wannabez are buying da slots of concert where sum really talented musician cud be.....So i think Ppl shud understand dat listening to music and playing dem is diffrnt....ppl shud understand da diffrnce between a musician and a headbanger.......

i think i agree. these bands shouldn't be promoted in the first place cuz they really don't have the talent.

u know why i do not listen to Bangla band music anymore? it is just for this reason that Havoc has presented. most of the bands nowadays sound very similar. the words they use in the lyrics ... i have a feeling that they don't understand themselves, but yet put them in the lyrics. nowadays bands like Icon, Shironamhin etc. don't make sense to me
i used to love Black at one point, but now, i feel they're pointless pretty much.

lol...shironamhin is unique in their own way of music..n i hav'nt seen any band providing music like dem..at least in BD.oder sathey onno kono band er compare korer nei..ora metal o na alter o na..

Anyway..now der's a hope to recover that awful condition..D-rockstar ta howate onek labh hoyeche UG er..So lets hope for the best.

media doesnt do a good job at covering everything.

i only got like 3 bd channels i can die for. tao abar ki, ads R ads. r khoborey bhora. natok dekhtey boshley o. u basically catch 15 minutes of it only.
so annoying. english r hindi beshi follow kora hoye jai. just cuz sum weirdoes cant cover native stuff properly. ajaira lok jon get the limelight cuz of money. i rather watch some hindi music vids than watch an ad or a weirdo singing in a bhanga gola.

i dunt understand keno properly true talent der limelight diwa hoy nah. just hothat bitat well singers like arnob or shahana rey dekha hoy. they r just not promoted enough.
ppl gotta register in forums, and keep in contact with numerous ppl to get a hold of the "real" music. no one has the time to sit around and download every friggen album to see kun gaan guli bhalo. if u do then u have no life. lolz
r desher bairey cds ashey like months later wen gaan guli old. thx to forums and my buds, i get to listen to demoes b4 it even hits the market. online world er jono onek kichu ee possible akhon, and proud to say jar music follow korar tara korbeyi. i see more and more ppl being informed abt the bd music scene. thas nice to see, and more ppl getting into rock or metal or even hip hop instead of just commercial ones by habib.

if an album is anticipated to do well, an other artist " pays"
