We use winamp/wma or etc for playing media(ado or vdo) what ever it is..

n now days many new formats r comming out..sometimes they didnt supported with in our pc...

for that...we can use codec...

im using:

dudes use ffdshow. my fav codec. it supports almost every codec (both audio n video) u can imagine. it give u a nice GUI where u can enable/disable individual codecs as u need! it also gives many options like deinterlacing, resize, picture properties and many more. it even has a auto-leveling with a real time histogram like photoshop. these setting are universal means no matter what player u use 2 play files these options are used if enabled.they are easily accessible via system tray.
