i am using the 8.1 beta right now .. nothin much is different apparently ..except the better connectivity ..takes less time to login ..

feeling the same advantage here. Seems to me its not like first generation WLMs where it took considerable amount of b/w with respect to bd.

well , ehab , I dont think thats a irrelevant analogy. Just think , how rapidly things are changing about the next generation chatting along with WLM and YM 8.....

Well.. I'm kinda confused.. I did install it.. There is some new functionality.. Like u can use a global display picture.. Means u can have the same display pic & personal msg either u r in ur home or ur working place or in a cafe or somewhere else.. Newayz this isn't the main confusion.. The main thing is after installing this version it takes approximately 7 minutes to sign me in .. Other hand u guyz r saying its first.. Not only me.. But the creator of Mess Patch mentioned the same problem.. Newayz I rollback to Windows Live Messenger v8.0.0812.. Patchou doesn't release MsgPlus Live! compatible with WLM 8.1 beta yet.. But Mess Patch has been released.. I'm gonna update my first post.. I'll move to this beta as soon as Patchou released his new version of MsgPlus Live!..

hmm... pardon me. May be I am wrong because really I dont look at the versions

I mean , I have downloaded it only a few days ago , install it and using it. Haven't got nay notification of new version. So , I am a bit confused.

~ hmm . i started usin 8.1 nd then sumthin started to go wrong wid my display picturez . it was quite funny . like i had my dsp nd thn suddenly in da next 5 secondz i c tht i hav no display pic . lol newayz . so i switched bak to 8.0 nd more over 8.1 duznt hav da plus live yet so yea . i guess i'll wait til everythinz released for 8.1

I guess, then you should work with v8.0

Still thats a pretty cool version if you don't have any affinity for Live tool bar and other live stuffs.
