The The Ultimate Selector [Rules & Regulation]

• You have to select a team of 11 players; You can select at max 2 players from One country.


• You have to create a balanced side which must include

..1 Wicket-keeper,
..3 Bowlers (genuine) ,
..5 Batsmen (genuine) &
..2 allrounders.



POINT SYSTEM

The List of players for each of these 4 category, frm which you hav to pick will be given later.

• You will be awarded 1 point for each run scored by any Batsman.

• You will be awarded 20 points for each wicket taken by any Bowler.

• You will be awarded 10 points for every catch or run out by any Fielder exept the wicketkeeper.

• You will be awarded 15 points for every catch, stumpings or run outs if its caused by ur Wicketkeeper.

• You will be awarded 10 bonus points for each 50 scored by a Batsman.

• You will be awarded 25 bonus points for each 100 scored a Batsman.

• You will be awarded 25 bonus points for each 4+ wicket haul by a Bowler.

• You will be awarded 10 bonus points for each 'MAN OF THE MATCH' award by any of your players.

• Your player will be awarded 20 bonus points if he ends up in the wining team.
But 10 points will be taken out. If he ends up in the losing team.
your player will be awarded 10 bonus points , If the game is tied.
No Bonus point for ur player endin up in a abondened game.


• U must choose a captain of your team. And you hav to choose it meaningfully because, the points he will gain after the end of a match, will get doubled. But the bonus points frm the match-result[xplained in the previous rule] will applyto only 1 player frm a country.

If the captain from your team wins/loses/ties , that bonus point will automatically be added to his scoresheet. Not to the other players frm the same country.e.g.




CALCULATION

suppose ur team hav chris gayle & Brian Lara , both of who are playin for WI.

WI won against Pakistan . Chris Gayle scores 30 , Lara scores 40. Gayle took 3 wickets. Lara took 2 catches.


So the points Gayle gains will be =

runs scored = 30
wickets taken = (20*3) = 60
catches taken = 0
wining the game = 20.

Total = 110 points.

Lara will gain

runs scored = 40
catches taken = 10

Total = 50. So.. game win korar jonno Lara point pachhena.. as sheta gayle er shathe allready included hoye gese.

Now suppose Gayle is also the captain of ur team. Then defntly, U hav to add the bonus point of wining/losing/tieing a game to his score sheet.

in tht case points Gayle will score will be = 110*2 = 220.

• You must submit your selection in our own THREAD before the tournament starts.

• You will not be allowed to make any changes to your selection after the tournament starts.

SUBSTITUTION RULES


You can use MAXIMUM 5 substitutes in TOTAL for the entire tournament.

After ROUND 1> <b4 Super EIGHT , U can use not more than 2 of your 5 substitutes.

AFter SUPER EIGHT><b4 SEMIFINALS , U can use not more than3of your 5 substitutes.

After SEMIFINALS><b4 FINAL , U can use not more than 4 of your 5 substitutes.
only if u havnt yet used up all your 5 subs b4 Final.


But keep in mind, U hav to manage ur SuBs this way, so that


At SUPER EIGHT , ur startin 11 must not appear more than 3 players frm one country.

At SEMIFINALS, ur startin 11 must not appear more than 4 players frm one country.

AT FINALS , ur startin 11 must not appear more than 5 players frm one country.



• Your substitutes doesnt hav to hav the same status. i.e. Batsmen for Batsmen, Bowler for Bowler and All-Rounder for All-Rounder.
So you can replace a batsman for an allrounder or a bowler or even a keeper.
